Get the coaching and guidance you need to write and publish your nonfiction book.
You Know You Want to Write a Book
If you’re reading this, you know you want to write a book, but you keep putting it off. Either that, or you’ve had several false starts and never finished your book. Your book might be about your life, your expertise, or both.
If you’re an entrepreneur, business owner, expert, thought leader, coach, or speaker, you also probably know a book is one of the most effective ways to establish your authority, elevate your brand, market your services, and create multiple streams of revenue that significantly increase your income.
The Problem: You’re trying to write your book on your own
Unfortunately, like most first-time authors, you don’t know how to write a credible book. You also don’t know how to get your book published, read, and positioned correctly in the marketplace so you can leverage your expert status, expand your visibility, and make the difference you want to make.
Having a book writing coach will change all that!
My goal as your writing coach is to help you write a book that’s engaging, inspiring, and the highest quality writing possible. Both private and group coaching clients of mine regularly tell me I make their book writing process fun and much easier than if they had tried to write a book on their own.

Private Coaching Package – What You Get
- Six months of one-on-one, personalized writing coaching
- Written feedback on your manuscript
- Three one-hour virtual coaching and writing sessions per month with a published writer and highly experienced writing coach
- Guidance, pacing, and personal attention so you make steady progress while also having fun writing your book
- A well-written, engaging book that you finish within months, rather than over years of struggle
The Private Writing Coaching Process
To begin, I will work with you to distinguish your purpose for writing the book, your ideal reader, and your current writing process. I will then work with you to create a working outline of your book and establish a writing habit that fits with your life and writing goals. If you already have a partially written manuscript, I will review that manuscript before your first virtual session. Then I will work with you to develop a plan to complete the book.
Before each virtual session, you will send me a new draft of your writing 24 hours before meeting. I will read your draft and give you specific written feedback on at least 750 words of your manuscript each week.
During the hour-long virtual one-on-one session, I will share my screen with you so I can explain the comments I’ve written in your manuscript. I will also ask you questions to draw out additional ideas, stories, and information you’ll need to develop and refine your manuscript. While I review each draft with you, I’ll also capture your thoughts in writing during our conversation together, so you’ll have them to work from when I return that version of your manuscript back to you right after your weekly session.
Write Now: Group Coaching
When you work with me as a member of a writing and publishing group, you’ll be meeting virtually for 90 minutes twice a month with a small group of authors to write, organize, develop, and publish your book manuscript. I’ll help each of you establish a writing habit that works for your life and suggest a writing partner for added support and accountability. I’ll also work with you to launch a bestselling book campaign with speaking gigs.
The Value of a Writing and Publishing Group
The greatest value of a writing and publishing group is getting immediate reactions to your writing from a live audience. At least once per month, each writer will read approximately 500-750 words of his or her manuscript. I create a safe and empowering environment for you to get and give the constructive but supportive feedback you need. Real readers’ responses to your manuscript will let you know where your writing is clear and engaging and where it needs more work. You’ll also learn a lot from reading and listening to different writers’ voice, tone, and style, not to mention the networks of other authors to help launch your book and speaking career.
