Save time and effort by letting me ghostwrite your book for you!
“You Should Write a Book!”
Have you ever been told, “You should write a book!” But you get overwhelmed just thinking about how to start or the amount of time and effort it’s going to take once you DO start?
Do you juggle endless responsibilities that keep you from writing the book you’ve always wanted to write?
Have you already had several false starts and never finished your book?
Chances are, if you’re reading this, you have unique expertise to offer others by writing a book. If you’re successful at what you do and living a big life, making the time to write a book may seem impossible—no matter how much you’d really like to write it. That’s where hiring a ghostwriter like me comes in!
Why Hire a Ghostwriter
Working with me, you’ll become the author of a high quality, nonfiction book without having to do the writing yourself. By hiring me to write for you, you’ll be able to share your expertise and actually finish an engaging book that people will want to read! Throughout the process, you’ll be able to concentrate on your personal and professional responsibilities, rather than keep trying to force yourself to find time to write your book.
Instead, let me write the book for you—with your input and feedback on drafts, of course—so you can have greater fun, freedom, and ease becoming the author of a book.
The Ghostwriting Process
As your ghostwriter, I work to capture your distinctive voice, tone, and style by recording interviews with you about your experience and expertise. I listen closely to what you say and how you say it. Then I integrate any other relevant writing of yours, and, when needed, I conduct research to fill in gaps.
As I organize, write, and develop your manuscript, I’ll ask for your written and verbal feedback along the way. Then, within six to nine months (depending on the scope of the project and your availability to review drafts), I’ll complete a coherent, engaging book manuscript that’s ready for the publication process.
Depending on the development and stage of your manuscript, I can provide three levels of editing services:
Structural editing focuses on the organization, development, and coherence of your manuscript as a whole. My goal during a structural edit is to give you specific, substantive feedback for making your writing the best that it can be.
To do this, I look at the document as a whole to give you concrete advice for revising and improving your manuscript. I analyze the organization, logic, clarity, style, tone, and coherence of your document. I evaluate whether your main message (thesis) is clear and persuasive, your logic is sound, and your central ideas are well organized, well developed, and well supported with effective evidence, research, and citations when needed.
I also evaluate the flow and effectiveness of your writing and storytelling. I analyze the plot, characters, dialogue, and pace of your stories. If something’s missing or not working, I’ll give you suggestions for improving your narrative. I’ll look for how effectively your writing moves up and down the “ladder of abstraction” from the abstract and general to the concrete and specific. I’ll let you know where your writing is engaging and where it needs more stories, more examples, or more attention.
Copyediting is similar to structural editing but less complex. I closely edit your manuscript by identifying and correcting any weaknesses or errors in coherence, logic, style, grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
I closely proofread a final draft or an actual reproduction of your finished manuscript to catch any final mistakes or typographical errors that could have been introduced during the production process.
